Wtf is up with Patten CAT?!?!

    So, I called their Hammond location, asked the cost of running the overhead, oil and filter change and engine re-rate for 475 NXS ACERT....response...$1,700!!!!!!

    Out of curiosity I called their Elmhurst location.....guy says they only re-rate to 550hp and 2050tq...(I’ve read CAT internal guides for. 475 that sybuprate to 500hp and 1850tq only but, ok..)....says 2 he’s labor for oil change!!!!!!!!Grand total...$2,000.!!!!!!!!!

    Called JX Peterbilt in Lansing......quote $845 plus cost of CAT software file.....

    Pete seems downright reasonable!!!!!

    If you ever come out West. I know a guy here in Phx that does it.
    He charged me $375 to run the overhead on my N14.
