I normally don't go out there, I got 1 trip a few years ago because no one else would take the load; the mental cases I work for added a stop in Denver to a load that had 5 drops around LA. 2 big pallets poorly wrapped to deliver in so much snow that I couldn't back to the dock without lots of screwing around and then I got stuck at the dock because a 48 foot trailer put my back drive in the gutter along the street. The shop owner had his lot plowed out and the guys pulled me out with a big skid loader after I had rammed chains under the tires to try and move it myself.
I drove to Beaver, Utah the next day, it took almost 10 hours of driving with the weather and the mountains. I drove almost all of Colorado at night except from the store to the TA.
This was around the time Gerald Ford's passing was announced, I was near Vail at the time.
I wouldn't do that again unless I had to be in Denver for some reason.
I took 80 to 76 to 70 to 15, 25 was closed north and south of Denver, and 70 was closed east of Denver near the border, out of 4 trucks, I was the only 1 not stopped by the weather aside from waiting for 10 hours for 70 west to be open.
WyDOT: $116 is I-80 toll threshold for trucks
