We are on the rain side. Oklahoma, Kansas, Iowa in the morning. Apparently Iowa expecting 18 inches. Then SUNDAY it's Kansas City-Chicago problem.
Followed by a Ice storm along I-81 in Knoxville all the way to Hagerstown Maryland as the whole thing rolls east.
We are in the rain section and as of two days ago were expecting 40 to 50 mph winds sustained. We are still keeping a eye on this because this is the kind of rain that floods. It's not going to stop until the Chicago-KC portion of the sunday part of this storm gets going. It's cranking in the west off Seattle-Odgen as I speak.tucker Thanks this. -

A bit windy across southern WY this Tuesday Dec 4. Light vehicle restriction in effect across Elk Mountain region. I was kinda light and ran across 30/287 between Laramie and Rawlins during the afternoon. It was fine and sunny. A few black ice patches the western-most 5-8 miles but the rest of the road is fine. Winds are hardest on WB traffic and certainly less of a problem then on I-80.
But in Wyoming, things can change considerably in the matter of a few hours
