I will in a tent, you have the whole place t o yourself except when that rv comes in with he generator...then instant you know what comes out because they always camp right next to you, turn lights on. Would not mind them on other side of area, but they always set up feet away from the tent.
I really must install my drive cam that I've had since Christmas. Then we'll see some trully terrible conditions and terrified mega's.
Now now now Dave.... You're not allowed to run over the Mega's. That's against the rules. Seriously... From my home. I can be in Wyoming within the hour. I turned down a local fuel hauling job that paid well. Offered home time every weekend and a couple nights a week. Why? Majority of runs into Wyoming. Do you think I have a sign on my forehead that says: STUPID... ????
Looks like Werner needs to grow a pair. He a hazard being that slow. Also that trailer in the hammer lane coming up at speed should not be doing that. See when he gets next to that tanker someone had to get left to get around werner. Notice that the wind has a place to go under the trailers without skirts. Not a problem. Now... that particular day might not be a good day to go driving about out there for those unfamiliar with it. That is usually where problems begin.
Werner, CRE, & Prime. Swift doesn't let so many on that highway in the winter now. And the one Swift I did see, had several chains all over the highway west of the Sisters. No one else had chains on, he felt the need to, even on the trailer.
Could be someone working the oil fields. Who knows if the driver had his axle locked. The rumble strip could have given him some traction also.
Chains will last long enough to get you off of the road, and much longer if you don't try and drive the speed limit.
