I am looking to buy an inverter and the online reviews of the Xantrex 2000 W inverter seem decent but wanted to get some real life reviews of anyone that uses this in the truck. Thanks very much for any insights.

I have a Xantrex in my motor home. No complaints. I have a Vanner in my truck. I've had this since 1996 and switch it when I get a new truck. Vanners are made in Ohio.
majestyk Thanks this. -
Thanks for the input ND.

I run a Xantrex 2500 prosine and I love it !
I have a 4 battery bank separate from my truck batteris and a solenoid to isolate them .
When I am home I just plug into shore power and the inverter charges the batteris and keeps everything running top notch ! -
Thanks for the additional info Marmon, will probably send off for one soon.

majestyk, I have a Xantrex 1750 and works very well, one of things I like is that the fan is thermastaticly controlled, so it only comes on when it needs to. I had another inverter a couple of years ago, and that fan ran all the time, it was noisy and the fan quit prematurely. Good luck
