    Getting my new company truck next week & got XM for Christmas & was just wondering if anybody had installed 1 in a Prostar & if it was a pain in the #####, or if I should get a professional?

    Your truck may have it installed already,depends on the model.
    There's a little black box on the left mirror bracket,I never had trouble picking up a signal unless in the mountains.

    As for the xm unit you own,you can switch to the truck(using XM ID),or just run the wires..easy to do.

    Thanks. Never noticed the black box (of course I havent really looked for it either) I will look ot over when I get my truck Monday. Appreciated
