Winshield mount in an 02 International Eagle auto trans. Power is through the aux cig lighter.I get a whine that goes louder as the transmission winds up.
It goes through the stock radio and have tried both the single wire port on the front and the rca jacks on the rear. No whine when I run from i pod to radio receiver with wire on front. Also put a few chokes from Radio Shack on the power wires, no change. Anyone got any reasonable idea ?

try moving the antenna wire to different route the one for the satellite it can pickup noise

You have a ground loop causing the noise. An isolating cable should do the trick. Do a web search for a Kensington K39203US cable; I like mine so much I have two spares...

Thank-you ...Anybody stock these cables ??

the problem is your aux wires. your pickng up noise from the alternator. not the transmission.
plug your phone into the aux jack. and play a song or even your mp3 player. listen to the noise. unplug the lighter plug and hear the noise go away.
you won't hear the noise if you use the fm transmitter built into the satellite radio.
the problem with the fm transmitter though is a church channel that seems to broadcast everywhere in america. it over rides whatever station you happen to be using. and it's different station where ever your at.
that's why i stick with the aux port.
