Ever pull a dry van with just totes? I felt like that’s worse than the tank I’m in now.

Couple fender benders on I95 this morning meant it took me 1:15 hrs to travel 20miles home this morning. If I was OTR I would have been "home" in 5 seconds flat. Then you factor in commuting fuel costs.

Having said that, I rolled past 4 large truckstops at 11pm last night that were packed to the gills and I breathed a sigh of relief that I won't have to deal with that headache or worrying about finding parking for the night.

I don't even mind the commute. I miss normal stuff like that being over the road. Plus, down around here, there's really no such thing as rush hour traffic.

But I get what you're saying.

That began about 10 years ago when the Feds declared that any container holding more than 119 gallons of a liquid required a tank endorsement.

Been there, done that. About 4 of those will be enough to let you know they are back there.

If there are enough of them to add up to 1000 gallons.

Right. Most IBCs are 275 or 330 gallons, so either way 4 of them will trigger the tank endorsement requirement.
