Ever pull a dry van with just totes? I felt like that’s worse than the tank I’m in now.

Couple fender benders on I95 this morning meant it took me 1:15 hrs to travel 20miles home this morning. If I was OTR I would have been "home" in 5 seconds flat. Then you factor in commuting fuel costs.
Having said that, I rolled past 4 large truckstops at 11pm last night that were packed to the gills and I breathed a sigh of relief that I won't have to deal with that headache or worrying about finding parking for the night.Bob Dobalina and MACK E-6 Thank this. -
I don't even mind the commute. I miss normal stuff like that being over the road. Plus, down around here, there's really no such thing as rush hour traffic.
But I get what you're saying.MACK E-6 Thanks this. -
That began about 10 years ago when the Feds declared that any container holding more than 119 gallons of a liquid required a tank endorsement.
Been there, done that. About 4 of those will be enough to let you know they are back there. -
If there are enough of them to add up to 1000 gallons.Bob Dobalina Thanks this.

Right. Most IBCs are 275 or 330 gallons, so either way 4 of them will trigger the tank endorsement requirement.
