Close to getting my CDL, and these two seem like good starter companies. Any thoughts on which might be better and why? From the OTR training to the post training pay and beyond, which would be the better one? Or maybe suggest another company? Thanks.
XPO or Schneider?

Which one has a terminal close to your place of residence?
ExOTR Thanks this. -
Depends on if your a pitcher or a catcher
CrazyPATrucker and Chinatown Thank this. -
Abilene Motor Express would be my first choice; lots of miles and 100% driver no-touch freight.
Freymiller is good and hire new cdl grads. Website has "experience required" but that's not up to date.
There's probably more good choices depending on your city/state. Where do you live.? -

If you are in the DC area, we have a Northeast Region driver position that you might be interested in.
I can to Abilene after getting my CDL and went through their Training Program. Been running solo now for almost six months and it's still a good place to be.
Awesome Equipment, Great Freight, and Miles
