Sounds reasonable, but the human animal is evolutionarily predisposed to despise "weakness", and kill and eat it. That's one reason an American will kick 3 homeless vets out of the way to get to a stray dog, that may be 100 yards from home and been gone 5 minutes.
Yard dog leaves trailer jacked up too high....

I have read all your posts & have taken a few responses into consideration. One of those being, "talk to the guy" (again, cause I have already discussed this with him twice before). This time I caught him out picking up a trailer on the yard & I went out & discussed it & showed him (again) what I mean by letting the foot just barely touch the ground, then pull out from under it. So.... we will see.
I still don't think his 5th wheel is any higher than mine (although I haven't measured it but) cause he don't seem to have trouble backing under trailers I drop.
I honestly don't think he understands that allowing the trailer to drop a little, will help him when he goes to hook back up to it by picking the lading gear up off the ground a bit. I tried explaining that to him & he said he would do it.
We will see, if the third time is the charm......Dark_Majesty_06 Thanks this. -
switch tractors with him for a day

Just drop the trailers too low for him to get under drop your air bags and leave space between landing gear and ground so he has to get out and run landing gear up.if it was me id drop trailer and get out and crank the trailer even lower.
