It seems to be the magic number in a lot of job listings...my question is does the time with the trainer count towards this?
Already had my CDL going in, but it's no secret that Prime has one of the longer training periods and when I add up the time waiting for a trainer, then training (with home time thrown in) and waiting for a truck, I was hired on in February and didn't set out solo until June.
I was lucky to have a good trainer and gaining good experience, but I need to start thinking about something at least regional and home on the weekends...starting to realize that the lady is growing weary of my whole 4 days home a month OTR schedule.
Thanks!
Dave

I would go with the first day you started driving
More training is always better than less -
Some companies go by the date you received your CDL.
Others specifically state, "Time with a trainer doesn't count."Snow Hater Thanks this. -
You've been driving since Feb. 2022?

Hired on in February, had to wait a few weeks for a trainer and actually started driving in March. Upgraded to solo in June.
