Somebody probably tracked his course on a GPS probably or something, noticed he was first going one direction, and then the opposite.
If that is in fact the case, then somebody has entirely too much time on his hands.
Yep, a bobtail u-turn and safety is all over me about it.

Cant speak for others but my truck has a leftover GPS tracking system from when it was a mega truck that never got removed. I renewed the sub on it and had it turned on for reasons (morbid curoisity) it will track where my truck went, the speed i went on that road, direction, where i turned, how fast i turned, the G forces, engine reving, how hard i applied brakes, if i signaled, if i used a U-Turn, road weight limits and a bajillion other ever more invasive things i mean for christs sake there is an option i could buy that if i had a compatable driver facing cam would let it scan for "forbidden things" such as a cell phone, drinks, guns, and many other things and auto alert you while saving that video for upto 3 months. And its accurate to within a foot too. This thing also has settings to instantly alert me to any number of other things with the truck. Its actully kinda scary to see how much your actully able to be tracked.gentleroger, Another Canadian driver and Sons Hero Thank this.

Satellite tracking they know everything.
you do 30 in a 25 thru some hick town they knowAnother Canadian driver Thanks this. -
I would claim tracking error if some navigation recorded me lol.
Regardless the whole anti u-turn thing was supposed to be because it's dangerous to have a whole trailer blocking the whole road during a u-turn. Someone could come around a corner and instantly their car becomes a convertible.
That's what I was told back in the day when I was a company driver.
If you are bobtail I don't see what the big deal is.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
The bigger question is being OP has "4+ years experience" why is he at low paying mega training carrier Stevens???

Was he fired or are they gonna let him sweat out the 3 day weekend?

I’d show them the top two pics and ask how you are supposed to get back to Walmart to pick up a trailer. It’s pretty obvious that you can’t turn left so you had to use the marked u-turn lane.
But it brings up another question. As states are moving away from allowing left turns across traffic how long until these companies are forced to realize that their hard approach to things is no longer an option? Here’s hwy 212 in Glencoe MN. They did this last year, so I guess if a Stevens truck loads at Seneca foods they’ll get fired for following the traffic pattern.

Sorry, I misconstrued your post. However, I stand by my assertation; they jerked you around for 2 days before firing you because they were goading you into quitting.Another Canadian driver, rollin coal and Cat sdp Thank this.
