Any crime punishable by imprisonment of one year or more is a felony.

Since, I don't believe you to be a lawyer, and the op is a lawyer, I think I will believe him.

Of course a lawyer certainly wouldn't over-blow something to pick up a little business around here would he?

I would still take the ops word over it, since he did go to law school.

Isn't spanking your kids now a felony too?
As the world gets worse, the laws become stricter.
    Funny how that works.

    Don't get me started.

I must put down the mouse and leave this particular topic alone and back away. The moderators have already been chewing on me for me and my big fat opinionated mouth....

It's really amazing how Parents cannot be parents with total freedom and oversight to raise the child as they see fit without the State getting involved pushing between child and parent and slapping parent for this abuse or that something esle.

Now do you see where Im coming from? The moderators are not the problem. It's me who cannot stand a excessively regulated government intent on ruining any chance of a free and bright future for all children.

I am a lawyer. I do not handle criminal law cases anymore so I really have nothing to gain financially from posting. I simply like to inform drivers to help them avoid pitfalls. I will post some information about prosecutions for logbook falsification when I get the chance. Right now I am preparing for a trial in Wisconsin tomorrow.
