Yet another Load Board Question....

I used both for about 3 months. the transcore website had more loads. I stopped using it because I could not afford both. I stuck with IT because of the factoring company I was using and there was enough work on it for me (as well as the cost). The only negative with transcore was of course the price, credit checks were extra as well, their free on ITS because I use D & S factors. If money was not a problem for me I would use the transcore website, with credit checks i think your looking a $150 a month.

I would suggest trying both for a month and take into account (# loads, price, etc.) and go from there. a lot of the loads on transcore board were also on IT, so you can easily compare the two.

Also the version that is offered by OOIDA, it thinks its called truckers-edge, is a cheaper, watered down version (less loads) of the transcore board.

 

how effective is using the factoring company? i've heard others talk of them,but never used one personally

 

Good question. I use get loaded and Land Star Broker. Sure wish they would combine their info... Any other users?

 

I use several but by far truckersedge.net is the best bang for my buck. they always have alot of frieght, you get broker credit scores and days to pay . plus all sorts of other helpfull junk,, all for $35 a month.
