I am sitting here in tulsa, oklahoma. I drove my 11 hours to get here, but will be out of truck for 12 hours. I am visiting some friends and staying at thier place tonight. I will log all of this on line 1, now will I be clear for my 11 and 14 to reset without the sleeper time?
Thanks in advance for the help

Think about it.
You are off duty for more than 10 hours. It is the same whether in the bunk or out of it. -
correct......

thank you, thought that was the answer but thought I better ask. Never thought about it before.

No... I ran otr about 7 or 8 years ago, then got off the road for one of those office jobs. I hated that, so I went to driving local, I fell under the 100 mile radius rule, and didnt have to do a log. I then wanted to get back otr, and applied to start hauling cars in the central section of the u.s. so I haven't been logging with the new 11 and 14 rule much, and before I drove for werner, and the paperless log system really figured everything for me.

Txschwab, as long as you have a continuous 10 hours duty your good. to go as long as you of course have hours on your 70 available. You can combine sleeper and off duty to make your 10 off also. Same with the 34 reset of the 70.
