    MY RADIO RODE AROUND IN A BACKPACK FOR 2 WEEKS AND NOW IT ONLY TRANSMITS SOMETIMES. NO NEEDLE SWING. PLEASE TELL ME ITS JUST THE MIC. BTW THE RX/TX LIGHTS UP WHEN I KEY, JUST NO NEEDLE SWING OR RESPONSES TO CHECK CALL:biggrin_25510:

    It,s the white wire in your mic it,s not contacting either the plug (wich is most likely) or the key switch. try a new mic.

    i bought me a new 29nw wx st tried the mic from new one on old d it didnt work. sold the old radio at the TS the other night for 20 bucks. guy said his bro in law could fix it.:biggrin_25525:
