I had Sunday and Monday off. I qualified for a reset starting Saturday night but I haven't gone over the 70/8 days at any time in the last week or so. So I haven't needed a reset to be legal.

Friday I will have another qualifying 34 or more hours off due to the load not bring ready until Saturday morning. Does Friday qualify as a reset if I just deem Sunday and Monday as days off?

Since I'm not required to ever do a reset and I've never needed to use one to be legal on the 70/8 cycle in the last 8 days.

As long as your ran on the recap hrs you can use Friday as your reset instead of the previous Saturday's.

    168 hours.

so if you start your reset at friday 7 p.m. you can't start another reset till next friday at 7 p.m. so your next reset can happen any time after.

but that don't mean you can't actually be OFF DUTY BEFORE the required time.
