Yet another Singh from California just killed someone with his truck

We all have a dog in this fight... we all have family and friends on the road every day. IMO the bottom line is CDL holders must 1) be able to speak English fairly fluently. 2) understand 95% of US road signs at a glance. 3) only be issued CDLs for the duration of the correct type of work authorization (AKA only for the duration of thier legal stay in our country). Outside of that, I don't care where they are from, what color they are, what accent they have, how they identify, or who they find attractive. Hell I don't even care about thier criminal record provided it isnt anti-american, terrorism, sex trafficking, or use of drugs or alcohol while operating a CMV.

 

How about 100%?

What if Runaway Truck Ramp Ahead is in that 5% they don't know? Or Low Clearance Ahead?
I expect a pilot to know 100% of their job, I expect the same from someone operating a semi.

 

They already had the customer service industry locked down, hotel ownership, and convenience store ownership locked down as well. How they got into trucking is a mystery to me. An invasion has become an infestation.

 

I used to love driving but the last few years I stopped enjoying it. Just so many stupid mf'ers in general out on the roads these days. Bike, car, tractor-trailer doesn't matter.

 

Don’t forget customer service hot lines and call centers for just about all the credit card companies, banks, loans, healthcare, etc. all hospitals here in The Baptist Healthcare system are India born “Dr’s”. I Didn’t know they were Baptist.
