The Mods should add to the list of things a driver should investigate about a company is right after checking the fmcsa scores is the address. If it's a house you might want to reconsider the company.

 

That system does not mitigate paying attention to your surroundings…

 

You are absolutely correct, and at the same time absolutely wrong on the Bendix mitigation systems. They actually use AI now in the newer trucks to make the trucks safer. If the truck stops without any driver effort for good reasons lives will be saved.

 

Anything that can make you lazy, will make you lazy.

 

This has been around for 10 years or so. It was not made for good drivers. It was made for current times.
