This is Arvin Meritor axle, good axle, I replaced the whole axle assembly two weeks ago.
I would not recommend you to buy a volvo with D13 motor, i own the 2nd 780 with D13 over past 12 years drove over 2.2 mil team, went through all the nightmares this motor can offer
replaced injectors 8 times,camshaft and idler gear has issues it cost me 40,000cad$ for new motor.
I wouldn't stay away from motors with timing gears in the back, i was quoted 18 grands to replace a 300$ gear, lots of labor. The same job cont less than 3000$ for a Detroit D60 or Isx.
