i agree with that in a way i think i'll need that time running from 2 am til 2-4 has been having that same effect i cant get to some stops because of the delivery window is outside the time i want to work

Heck in my area I don't see that to much...it is usually they have too much time on the loads.

Running 8-9 hours works for me pretty well. In this business everyone has find what works best for them tho..

I have days too, if I want to catch a great paying load and the only way to do is by running 10/11 hours 2 and sometimes 3 days out of the week, I will do it. Then just slow it down and take high paying 300 mile short loads for a couple of days or a longer load with lots of time. I feel like i have more flexibility this way by working off my recap..

Here's the way I approach it..... Why work 7 days for 5.5 days of Pay. I can earn just as much in 5.5 days as 7 and enjoy the 1.5 days Off. whether you or I work 11-14 or 8.75 hours per day were still away from home and in the truck 24 so why not maximize each day and then do a reset and have some off time. If it works for you great but this works for me..

    I don't like the reset method , truly I would prefer 14 a day ..
..... the rulemakers obviously ain't ever been otr truckers.....they have no idea...I am more fatigued after setting , my record so far is 48 hours , to get a 34 ,

EW: Just curious how the new truck is running for you. Mind if I ask what kind of mileage are you averaging? (If you've had a chance to figure it out yet) What year T680 is it again? Do you have the 52 inch or 76 inch? How many miles was on it when you got it? Hope you don't mind me asking; Just looking for some REAL feedback about this truck. Thanks!
