You aint gonna believe this... Yet Another Ic Choice thread move over DFO!

I can deal with 68..Thats about what I drive now..I found that 75 plus is not very easy of the fuel mileage, but at the same time I don't want the govt. telling me thats what I have run though.

 

Back in the 70's, The govt. told us to run 55.... Carter thought we were running outa fuel...

 

I will have to reconsider my career choices the day my truck gets limited to 68MPH.

I drive 60 MPH most of the time but you better believe when I get caught in that cluster**** of 20 other trucks trying to pass eachother at 1MPH and a line of 4 wheelers weaving in between I will get in that hammer lane and put it on the floor until none of them are in my mirrors any more.

What kind of dumb **** comes up with ideas like these. Wait until they see how sharply the rate of accidents rises when every single truck is trying to pass the other truck at 0.25 MPH differences, clogging up the interstates and wrecking 4 wheelers as they impatiently try to swerve between the trucks every chance they get.

Not that I really believe it will ever pass (hopefully I'm not eating my words there), but if it does... my co-op business idea

We get some investors together

We buy every single International 4700, GMC TopKick, and similar trucks that are just under 26k GVW that we can get our hands on

We shoe-horn in 700HP 6NZ CAT C15s (if they could possibly fit, if not, we could probably build some bad*** C13s and fit them in), 18 speed double over and 2.93 rear ends

When someone buys into the co-op they get a giant rubber bumper installed on their ICC bumper

We also have giant rubber bumpers on the front of our pusher trucks

We hire drivers to patrol the interstates and push the members of our co-ops.

Nothing in the law will say anything about the truck can't go over 68 MPH with the help of outside forces, like down a hill (or with one of our trucks pushing whats the difference)

Nothing will be able to stop our under 26k gross trucks going as fast as they legally want

When rickybobby joins the co-op he will be required to say "SLINGSHOT ENGAGED" every time we push him

The initial need will be for massive amounts of rubber to build our giant rubber bumpers so instead of investing money from the start we need people to go throw boxes of roofing nails on the interstate and then collect the aftermath
