You aint gonna believe this... Yet Another Ic Choice thread move over DFO!

The reason I put 3 hrs each to live ld and unload is to show that at worst
case you can still do this and make money, meaning you don't hav to always be real picky about loads.

 

the problem drivers who first become choice board members have is they get set in their mind I won't haul to this area I won't Haul a certain weight I won't do this I won't do that when it comes to running your own business you have to think outside of the box and do things you normally wouldn't want to in order to succeed

 

The way to make money in just about any situation / business is to be able / willing to do what other are not capable or willing to do.

 

Hey ew, I hav applied for the choice program, waiting back on them. But I am curious, you keep talking about the dispatcher runningyou around, I didn't think you guys had to deal with one, that you book ur own loads. Thx for any help.

Hmmm this thread after reading all the other choice thteads......are you banking any money. I finally talked my wife into letting me do choice after reading these threads for over a year....and now....seems I would lose everything. I know there's a learning curve but dang my wife would kill me if I wasn't making money.

 

as long as you are willing to work you're not afraid to pull heavy freight and you don't limit everywhere that you will go you can make money but if you got to stay within a certain geographical area and you won't pull over 20,000 pounds it is going to be very very hard to survive

 

All of this is true.

You CANNOT limit yourself..you have to be willing to work at it.
It's not as easy as it may seem.
Choice is great..But it will kick you to the curb if you don't pay attention.
