lol you guys are silly and didn't explain the numbers.

I was pointing at someone with a lager truck payment the numbers WOULD make sense.

You gotta know EVERYTHING (pretty much) is bundled in every week you pay for.

"I ran the numbers with my truck to see what the difference would be, using your fuel costs"

People with Schneider finance have all their plates, insurance, workmans comp, maintenance account, truck payment, all those wonderful truck taxes etc all added together.. generally for any newer truck it runs people around $1100 on average per week from everybody I talked to.
Add in those fuel costs of $1360 and you're right around his net.

Have you ever just driven so bad you thought you should park and walk???
That was me today I struggled to get out of the kearny yard. Go to my first customer which was the size of airport and couldn't back between trailers. Then it continues with the next stop I got to back in between a couple more trailers and keep turning the wheel the wrong way. Get to my last stop of the day and did a half u turn to back straight in.... AND STILL MISSED THE DANG HOLE. I laughed repositioned and said its time to retire for the week.

We've all been there. That is just fatigue rearing it's ugly head. Some days the best feeling is when I pull the parking brake for the last time of the day.

Alright i accepted that this week would be crap. I have two loads booked ill pick up the first sunday evening and drop that one on monday morning.

4 and a half days off isnt bad I kind of needed time awat. I have a $700 load that got bounced into this week. So even with only running 4 loads i'll still finish in the black. Im trying to squeeze in a load after a 20 mile load i'm running within PA. I may just pick up one of those paper loads in lancaster pa and take it to dover. Anywhere to park Overnight in or near Dover?
