Got the parts this morning. Talk about a miserable experience changing that filter while it was ten degrees out sucked. Once my hands got wet it got pretty serious I turned into a NASCAR pit crew get that swap done.
The petro had a shipment come in this morning I grabbed the tools there and have them the used filter.
I'm in York now at americold getting pallets unloaded I was supposed to go to Milton next but this load switched to live on both ends so I lost a load can't find anything I liked last I looked.
Tenn bro I surely plan to keep filters now that I know they can go poof just like that. My filter gauge read good two days ago and then was clogged all of a sudden. -
I always wanna go home the old lady is there

But honestly I wanted to do the change in warmer air not in near zero temps. But that changed quick once I had parts -
I feel ya.. on the cold weather. Im going to take 2 weeks off and head to South Beach, Miami. By then i hope the freight opens up. I been selective on booking loads. Before i book a load i look at the weather, if its a drop of snow.. I go the other way lol. Got caught up in Tobyhanna, Pa a couple of weeks ago in the snow. Never again will i book a load in the snow.!!! Thats way out of my comfort zone.

I hadn't been checking the weather but I think I'm going to check it more now I hate driving in winter weather for more than a few miles. I figure this is the best time to try and run a new area. I'll split my time between the mid Atlantic and the south for a couple months

My first time going into a Petro was the other day are the all built like a mall like the Scranton Petro

Here are the numbers for last week. TennMann come on and blow me up for the cheapness of last week lol
I wont even lie I look at it and it looks like crap , but i can tell its way cheaper to run in the south over the northeast.
Hazelton - Concordville (+trailer search) 1.42pm 33k $295
Philly - Richmond (+trailer search) 1.56pm 37k $438
Winchester - Berwick 1.62pm 8k $542
Hanover - Jacksonville 1.21 pm 14k $1109
Beech Island - Carbondale 1.47 pm 12k 1493
Gross 3866
Net 1496
In my honest opinion i think cheap loads are OKAY if and only if you can run the at greater than 8mpg.
But forget that next week or this week Thursday night through sunday morning i have 5 loads booked averaging 1.89 per mile and grossing 1945. I'll be in Philly Sunday, tomorrow i'll see if i can add another 8-1200 to go along with what i ran yesterday. -
I have no gripes about your pay it's your pay my reason for question your choice to go to Florida for so cheap.
You run your truck how you see fit. -
lol i just wanted out of the northeast i love the pay but im sick of the mountains. This week im pretty much running circles between Philly Richmond and bridgewater. Guess thats a triangle. Do you ever get tired of the area you run?

Carbondale, Pa sucks!!!! Sni sent me there in the freakin snow to pick up empty... Never again will i go there. The only cities i will go in Pa are . Carlisle, Tunkhannock, Mehoopany, Pittston, Tannersville, Tobyhanna, Mechanicsburg, Newville, Chambersburg, Greencastle and York. This is my Northeast lol
