Conway told me the same thing. I've had 1 level 1 since I've had my own authority and passed it with no violations. Still sporting around with my good boy stickers on truck & trailer. IMO I think it is their way of cutting out the single owner operators. Had one other broker tell me that I couldn't work for them with just 1 truck., you had to have at least 2. Can't recall their name right now.

Yea what stupid rule that is. I can bet who ever made that up problem never drove a truck in there life. I'm sure another broker with the same load info can get it moved and undercut them with out any bs like that

My truck(s), my trailer(s), I pick and choose the loads and brokers. If the broker is anal or stupid, let them be who they are and keep their freight. Somewhere there is another broker who will broker that same freight. Or, just pick up from the diff. Customer . Stop treating these brokers as gods. Carriers can live without brokers-brokers can't live without carriers.

I might consider asking for an inspection, why not ? like some weekend when I nitpick on my truck all day. Let's say Monday I hit a scale and get the green light. I might pull around back and go in and ask. "Hey, I am working to establish good csa scores, would one of you have time to give me an inspection ?"

the scores are cumalitive percentages, I think it's wise to get some clean inspections on file. Plus I think approaching them in this manner they may be more likely to give you a clean inspection without really looking too hard. IDK though, interesting idea.
