I used to have a Ford F150 pickup with a manual transmission and its first gear was in the same place as reverse in a big truck. I would put it in 1st (thinking its reverse) and look in the mirrors and then freak out when it was going forward when letting out the clutch. This happened more than once.

    Reaching for the jakes

Starting to slow down Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay before a stop, like coming off the freeway.

I always hesitate when I see the "no trucks over 5 tons" sign. I have hit the brakes looking to change my direction.

I'm guilty of most of the things listed too. My wife usually drives if we are going anywhere together. She says I need the break. My car is a '97 Eclipse. I literally feel as though I'm sitting on the pavement.

You do a walk around checking lights, tire pressure and looking for drips under the car before leaving the driveway.

When you come home but never completely unpack your road bags. I feel bad for not unpacking them, like I'm never really fully home to stay. Also when you have a panic attack from clausterphobia driving a relatives car (I've always owned p'ups). I was bugging out dropping their car off after coming home from a week on the road on top of about knocking myself out just getting in it.

You wave at other company drivers from your car. Like they know who you drive for.
