Whats an "FNG" ? You guys and yer silly little witticisms.

I know how to check my oil, and I know how to watch my oil pressure gauge and my coolant temp, and my RPMs, but I sure can't figger out yer silly little 3 letter crapola. Where do ya get that stuff - Facebook or whatever its called?

Has anyone seen the carnage from a blown oversped and overloaded clutch? That is something that is extremely rare in a truck but happened to a guy many years ago. Blew the old cast iron bell housing into crumbs. That was in a cabover Freightliner.

    Happened in cars more often.
I knew an old time hot rodder heavy into the San Antonio street racing scene back in the 80’s that passed 20 something years ago. He was a 50’s style drag racer and long time friend of Jody Smart and Eddie Hill and was at the time the local go to guy for tough race ready rebuilt transmissions. He had lost half his foot in the 60’s after a clutch exploded through the floorboard of his ‘55 Pontiac.

You know you’re a FNG when you don’t know what a FNG is. Lol just kidding, but it means F’n New Guy.

Thanks, I didn't know. Never been around FNGs, just old hands. :)

You know you're around FNG's when you see some idiot park his truck at a 45 degree angle to the curb when the lines are marked perpendicular like I did Friday.

I just shook my head and said to myself "now I know how the old timers feel".

Or the guys that take a 10 at the little travel plaza down by me. Pumps are out back behind the building. Only 3 islands and not much room for a 53 to make the swing for the island. Idiots all the time park along the fence to where it's not giving 48s or 53s enough room to make the swing to get to the pumps. Idiots. We stopped fueling there for that reason.

We're fueling at the J now. For whatever reason maverick is no longer accepting our fuel card.

There's 10 spots and every one are full. Not one hose hooked to a truck. Not one person at their truck.

Some days are literally an hour long to fuel up.

David Hunter, 650cat425 and Brettj3876 Thank this.
