You really did it this time, Rolls Canardly!

Well, you were lucky, my "old man" was a jerk. I'm sorry, if he was oil, I was water. We never saw eye to eye from the get go. Fact is, I sort of became a truck driver to spite him. All my learning was done from listening to OTHER peoples fathers. I had some great friends many years ago, the dad was a trucker and all his 4 sons drove trucks, or had their own. I always envied that, fathers that were truly interested in what their kids did.
Someone elses father told me once, "isn't half a loaf of bread better than none at all"? Not today, apparently.
