What kind of paranoid thought process do you two use to come up with that kind of thinking? I did not hit a truck, I am not looking to sue anyone. I was simply trying to clarify CB Rumor Talk about how accident investigators and liability lawyers are out to get the trucker whether he was a fault or not.

Most guys who've been at this game for 37 years know that, yes, a lawyer can and will come after a trucker whos logs are falsified, even if the idiot 4 wheeler blows a red light and T-bones you. It's about the money. Money money money.
FriedTater and psanderson Thank this. -
Not paranoid, just ain't my first rodeo. I didn't think you wanted to sue anybody sounded more like being afraid of being sued possibly. Either way was a gut feeling. Glad you were not involved for your sake. In our society today you better believe if a truck is involved someone is going to look up every nook and cranny to try and find a case against the trucker and the company if they think they have any chance of a payday at the end of it. As Magnum said it is all about the money money money money!

Yes it's true and it's called false logging. 15 minuets here so you can get home. 15 there so you can finish a trip. A lawyer will dig up every log book he can so he can make it your fault. Thats why i always log it legal. If that makes a load late oh well.
