In all seriousness though, what you said speaks to the severity of how bad drivers disrespect their own selves. What that broker and receiver did is pretty much theft of time, theft of possible wages, theft of contract integrity. My humor scenario is what should happen in a just situation. Drivers allow themselves to be swindled and force fed agreement, OR ELSE. On the other hand, brokers/shippers/receivers can do all sorts of things and just string you along with recorded lines, negotiation, etc etc. all the good avenues you take to be polite and appropriate dont mean a thing to these people. They’ll forget it all the next time they sip out of their route 44 Diet Coke and fire up that next challenge of candy crush on Facebook.

Well the best course is tell them you will be returning the load to the shipper. I suspect they'll find you a door quickly. LOL
