Moving.....your experience has about zero relevance to anyone. You had a friend to give you a truck and freight.....not a shyster trying to pawn off a POS and scumbags selling you cheap freight in bad lanes. You are a unicorn.

Hate to break it to you Mr. Pink but home time has MUCH to do with running your own numbers. You want facts? It is a fact that (for an OTR carrier) dead miles getting to and from home on a regular basis will hurt profits. And not wanting to live past 40....well you are another unicorn.

I have not been called a Unicorn in a very long time.. thanks for the laugh rank. :)
Hey you got the nice 359... you're sitting in high cotton apparently...so by all means call us plebs names.. We only get to be Human and full of ourselves once..

That's the wonderful thing about this country today, one can go on the internet and discuss living their life the way they wish to in a vague reference.. and someone completely random with a superiority complex and a big landscape picture of a old school 359 can call me a Unicorn! People are forgetting the beauty in that.

    God bless America!

But you still completely missed my point...

Attitude is one of those things that will make or break you in this business. I really have to wonder about an anti-social type who doesn't care to live past 40. You probably look and act like it too. This is a people business as any other business and those sort of fears will hold you back.

Sometimes I wonder, Is it the Fact that you are surrounded by people who will like and thank what you say so long as it gives them a warm feeling the real reason why so many people on here are so arrogant and literal?

You don't know me from Adam but from one comment I said on a social media website you are going to extrapolate that im some antisocial creep who wears Megadeth T shirts to Job interviews.. and has a che guevera poster on his wall in his tiny dirty efficiency apartment.. am I right?
not every person who wishes to start a business has a high overhead (kids, wife, debts) and it should be reflected in some posts.

Please find me where I said im antisocial . therefore I want to just lock myself in a truck and run miles for dirt rates till I keel over and die.. no where was that said.. that's you reaching.
Further more, do show me someone who is almost 90% guaranteed to have a terminal illness by the time he is 35 thanks to the family Genes who just wants to bang on for another 40 or so years.

Have a safe and pleasant day, and let us please get back to the topic.

Absolutely nothing! Love them personally... as I do Ratt And Skinny Puppy but the last thing on Earth one should wear when trying to look professional is wear their shirts. :D

You can't tell anyone anything. People have to make their own mistakes. Plenty of people have to make the same mistakes over and over because they don't learn from them the first time.

I gave you the facts. It has everything to do with the numbers. For many of US, getting home on weekends or even every other weekend would drain all most of the profits. What you seem to want is for someone to tell you how to make a living by never going home. Not saying there isn't the odd fellow like you out there, but clearly you're an oddity..
