Noo, Heck No, I NEVER owned a new truck..Those figures I posted are Approx what guys are paying..

Ive pondered it at times," Is it worth the extra $1000 per month to own new?"

2 reasons I say No.......

1. Low taxes,On gross revenue( I know it sounds nice, (But I want a decent retirement)
2. If ever I sustained an emergency life changing situation..I certainly Couldn't "assume" I would be able to sell it and pay off the lender- Let alone make a profit..

Less stress when assets are Paid for a 1 truck operation......bigger carriers, its different

 

Want lower taxes, IRA, if you're close to retirement. Shove it all in there. Lump sum it out later.

Ive done just over70,000 miles each of the last 2 years.
In 14 I just barely cleared 60 and paid a decent amount of tax before that.
