Fresher the better.
For anyone that might be curious about cold brew, if you are passing through Joplin stop at the Petro. There's a Caribou Coffee in the store. Get a large cold brew WITHOUT ice. It will be enough for two days, you need to cut it with water, it's STRONG! I don't know how they roast their beans, but I am betting it's at a low temperature for a long time. Their coffee is GREAT! Sometimes you can find it in Walmart. I always snag a one pound bag whenever I can, but fresh ground at the Joplin Petro and I died and went to heaven.tscottme and Oldironfan Thank this. -

How come all the mom and pop truckstops have terrible tasting coffee?
It always tastes like an old dish rag
But most the time they don’t charge me for it. Which is good because I always dump it out outside a Pilot or Loves.KillingTime, driverdriver and Oldironfan Thank this. -
Goodysnap, Swiss Mountain Dog, Oldironfan and 3 others Thank this.
