Your opinion about USXpress?

usx hasn't ordered a auto-shift in 3 years

 

US Xpress has been buying automatics but for those that really need it due to bad joints, etc.

 

I was told they were thinking about trying them again.... been hearing that off and on for the last 3 years.. didn't know they had started

 

Vinsanity is supposedly getting one.

Terminal manager of Markham told me the autos were for those that need it but then they started buying more and more.

 

my dad says it was the best company he drove for before he started hauling cars

 

They are buying trucks, there's quite a few 2015 models here in Irving and I seen several decked sets running east on 30 towards Arkansas.

 

I'm going to see if I can trade in our 2014 for a 2015 when I go home end of the month. Fingers crossed

 

If they add volvos with the D13, I shift is standard.

 

I would LOVE a Volvo. We could use all the storage space.

 

we got our own Volvo because usx stopped ordering Volvo's

the reason they stopped using Volvos is 1 Volvo wasn't doing repairs as fast as they should have..... keeping trucks in the shop for week when they had the part just kept moving them to the back of the line.... reason 2 EVERY 2008 Volvo with the d13 (about 1,500) were bad trucks.... ours was in the dealer every 20-25k and kept needing the SAME REPAIR over and over and over

Volvo tried to get usx to start using them again in 2010, gave them 10 trucks ( I was at t-hill the day they came in) at a real big discount to show they had fixed the prob.....
