It would probably be about 50/50. Some people would see the videos and make them want to go into trucking, others would watch the videos and it would turn them away from trucking I think.
There's really never been a shortage of people who get the trucking bug and give it a shot, at least now they can get a bit more of an inside look at it.

I enjoy Indiana jack. His camera work is excellent.
Takes a keen eye to notice a Knight logo on his truck.
The videos are usually just shows of the life of an average trucker. -
No I don't think it will entice anyone to drive, that haven't thought about driving before seeing any videos.

Safety Videos & Videos that strengthen my business...what i choose to watch affects my bottom line. i.e. whats the difference between channel design tread Vs. Multi-directional tread designed tires. Then, how do you support your interpretation. (it aint all about a big rig, )

Why would this be bad for O/Os?
The washout rate in trucking is high and even those who don't, have a long way to go from rookie company driver to a successful owner operator.
I think its a good thing that changes general motoring publics view of the truck drivers and the trucks.
I haven't watched these videos, but I would think they try to portray professional drivers in a positive view.DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
Ive made a few driving videos and a walkthrough on my t660 when i first got it when I worked for Lonestar.
Smokey and the Bandit got me into wanting to be a trucker when I was young.
I just feel bad for the people who look forward to trucking then watch some of these videos where the driver is a whiny person and just doesn't want to work, then makes their video to show their dispatcher "pushing" them to work.
