Yrc or fuel tanker, help me decide?

Which company is YRC hauling for?

How is the pay and benefits at both companies?

I drove for YRC in Nashville for about 3 years. Terminal I was out of was in Goodlettsville.
Pulled reefers coast to coast, which I like doing. I have no idea how the dry van side is though.
Greatwide has the Goodlettsville terminal now.

 

YRC is a union job, you will start at the bottom, if you are linehaul you will most likely work nights. The pension is a joke but there is medical insurance at zero cost to the employee.

 

The refrigerated division I drove for was non-union. It's gone now; some company bought it and shut down the Goodlettsville terminal.

 

Line haul is easy money. Both companies look good though.
Did you get the Booster job right out of school or did you already have experience?
