Which company is YRC hauling for?
`
What are you doing with that fuel tanker? -
Yrc terminal at Nashville and I’ve been working at booster fuels for a few monthsChinatown Thanks this.
-
-
How is the pay and benefits at both companies?
`
I drove for YRC in Nashville for about 3 years. Terminal I was out of was in Goodlettsville.
Pulled reefers coast to coast, which I like doing. I have no idea how the dry van side is though.
Greatwide has the Goodlettsville terminal now. -
YRC is a union job, you will start at the bottom, if you are linehaul you will most likely work nights. The pension is a joke but there is medical insurance at zero cost to the employee.
Flat Earth Trucker and bzinger Thank this. -
The refrigerated division I drove for was non-union. It's gone now; some company bought it and shut down the Goodlettsville terminal.bzinger Thanks this.
-
Benefits are free at booster the pay starts at 22 but I fuel about 100-150 cars and Yrc I’ll be doing linehaul
-
