    Its a shame my step father works for this company and loves it but he was notified yesterday that he has 2 runs left then he will be one of the 3,750 employees laid off with no idea of a return date forcing him to go back into a regional or OTR company. My heartfelt condolenses and prayers to those who are like my step father and caught in this unfortunate situation

    Alot of companies are cutting back which is not a good thing.

    It seems this economy is hurting a whole bunch of them.

    very much so because you know its bad when Swift is only doing 2 maybe 3 max orientation classes in PA for the month of December just shows even the large companies are not immune to the economic issues. I just hope whoever our next president is whether its McCain or Obama they are able to help us out of this situation and get things back on track.
