    Prescription eyeglasses $10.
Eyeglasses in America are over priced like all get out.
My mom and dad pay $400+ for their eyewear.
    I'm accident prone.
I send my prescription info to Zenni and order 6 pairs of glasses.
    Always have spares.
    Anyone else like Zenni?

Bluedew, Jazz1 and VIDEODROME Thank this.

Eyes are getting old. How are they on bi/tri focals?

On my second year with my pair. No line bifocal. Frames are no hell, but if your careful, they are a cost effective option.

I have been using them for years but the less you pay the shorter they last, i paid for the better lens 3years ago and they still have no problems.

The frames get mangled and the nose pads wear.
I always order the 2 same styles.
Have plenty of parts laying about.

Crushing a $10 pair of glasses doesn't hurt at all!

I mentioned this in two other threads.

Been using their $16 glasses for the past three years because of the harsh environment I worked in.

I like bridges without the noses. They're very hard to find. And very expensive at the 1 store that carries them. $650 for lightweight metal frames right now.

I also use progressive lenses. Not a big fan of bi or tri focals. I need a new prescription and I'm guessing upwards of $1G for a new pair this year. Exam, lenses, frames.

I have not tried Zenni but have bought transitional bifocals from 39dollarglasses.com No issues. Company pays for my glasses $400 per year which just covered my last pair from Walmart.

Clark Howard, consumer affairs radio host, loves them. Just beware, they have virtually no customer service. The responsibility for ordering the right items of the right measurements are on you. The items are so cheap you can order test glasses to try on and learn from your mistakes.

If you find a pair of glasses that fit your face perfectly the measurements are written directly inside the temple and you can use those measurements to find your next pair of frames. Zenni Optical looks like a good place to buy cheap Chinese frames but I did a search on their website for Persol frames and came up empty-handed. I did however find the genuine Persol frames for half price on another website. LensCrafters is definitely something you want to avoid unless you like spending twice as much.
