ZF Meritor RMX 10-16 transmission

find ZF dataplate on top of tranny, usually ZF16 is 1:1 top gear ratio

 

what truck? usually top gear ration is on vehicle dataplate and programmed in engine ECU

Really it is European ZF Astronic tranny. The only difference - to fit this TCU on 12 V truck they usew Voltage Doubler

 

Both direct drive and Od transmissions were used.

 

I could be wrong, not an expert, but I think RMX is very different from AS-Tronic. Check this link:
