Is asking too much to get paid for the actual miles you use for delivery? Or do you just bend over and take it like a man?

I calculate the miles and double check every week. Brokers also pay zip to zip. It’s always either plus or minus which has the same outcome

I don't need to be a trucker to know when someone is getting screwed.

Drivers work zip code to zip code work on a voluntary basis. They choose to work for those companies. They're not being screwed, because they have other choices, but choose zip code to zip code pay system.
I've always worked for hub miles.

Drivers get paid so many different ways its hard to count them all. Hourly, by the load, actual miles driven (hub miles), practical miles, "book" miles (zip to zip by the shortest route even if that route no longer exists), salary, percentage, the list goes on and on. What ever way your company pays is how they pay. Asking them to pay you by some other way than the way they do it will fall on deaf ears, I promise you.

HHG miles are the shortest route from a to b. Personally I’d rather take the fastest most “practical” route and get paid for it.

It’s not accurate to say brokers pay HHG miles either. Maybe a few do it that way but the industry has been moving to practical miles. I know the broker I use pays practical miles and is always dead on accurate if not a couple miles in my favor.

Just a small example..HHG miles will pay you to drive straight through Shreveport where practical miles will pay to take the bypass.

Company drivers don’t want to feel cheated at the end of the week and want to be compensated for what they do. Getting a higher cpm shouldn’t make it okay to be shorted mileage.

Anyway, it’s a good topic even if the OP doesn’t drive.

Is the OP just a troll wanting us drivers to feel ashamed of what we do?
