Here is my situation for anyone interested in how I've gotten involved with reefer..
    http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...authority-and-i-want-to-put-it-to-use.286589/

We now have our authority and I want to make sure Im prepared for whatever we haul. Since up until now we've only hauled our own product, I only have the equipment needed for it. We have two rows of e-track running the length of the trailer and 6 straps which I use depending on how kegs are stacked. Im thinking I should add some load locks and load bars. Maybe 2 each? Any suggestions?

Straps and load locks should be enough, load bars will only work if your going to stack freight on them and most reefer freight at least what I've hauled does not need to be stacked. Scan0009.jpg

I've hauled a lot of stacked reefer. Seafood, produce, medical supplies, Nestle, Wrigley's, etc...

Hauling them is the easiest part of my job. I have a new respect for all in the craft beer industry after having worked in it for 7 months now. It is WORK!! I'm looking forward to running the truck more. I could use the rest. ;)

Its better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it.

Is there a particular load board preferred by reefer haulers?

I prefer load locks and straps .. I find that once And a while the load shifts slightly and its darn near impossible to remove load bar .. Although if I'm hauling something on wheels I add a load bar as well .. Best advice I got when I started was make sure last two skids were against right wall or sideways if possible to help prevent shifting due to the crown of the road
