U turn what was he thinking

Wow........that individual shouldn't be behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle. I wouldn't even trust it pushing a walmart shopping cart.

Neither do I.

Only time I get to see a trailer across the freeway is in winter when that thing slides on ice... anything else has to be stu... uh... intentional... uh.. a teachable moment.

 

Why do I get the feeling that half of the "Swift Safety Team" back in Phoenix would look at that image and event and say "So. What's the problem?"

 

I saw one do that on I-80 just before the scales east of Lincoln. I guess he didn't scale his load and didn't want to risk getting an overweight ticket. Never saw any police go after him, and it was done within view of the open coops.

 

It's one thing to u-turn across the median but quite another to u-turn inside a uni-directional freeway.

 

It's no wonder, technically that would be an open o turn (ɔ).

u-turn is south to north
n-turn is north to south
c-turn is west to east
ɔ-turn is east to west
