Between all then prime land near the interstate being built up, $$$ and never getting zoning changes for one and the NIMBY folks, that's why the nearest real truckstops are 100 miles away. We have the same problem in Orlando. Land is high and margins are too low to make it work. I have my spots to park for free when I have to spend the night in S FLA but I'd never reveal them in a thread like this.
is he 595 truck stop worth it in your opinion?

You also have to remember...this is south FL...this close to the everglades, there has to be some major EPA regulation hurdles or else there would be a Flying Peelot every 3rd exit. A previous company chose to remove all their fuel tanks and pumps and pay retail because of the new regulations...and they were no where near little Cuba.

A select few members on here will get directions to my secret hiding spots in FL and that's it...

I haven't been in the 595 in a while but when it first opened I was in there pretty regular.....I thought the food was good but expensive and the showers back then were really clean....Never did park overnight but I have heard it is safe. -

There is public parking just a bit north of Miami on 95 if you are pulling a reefer. You can see it from the interstate. I ain't gonna say what exit though.
