I would say ur a former military. Not ex. You wear that uniform with honor and people respect u, you earn to wear it, so why can some goof ball just wear your uniform without earning it? Goes the same with cdl student calling themselves truckers when they can't even shift right
Pilot now sells military headwear!

Yep, $10 for night on the town back then; San Miguel beer and a beauty to spend the night with. My favorite bar was the Seven Seas Club, but all of them were good.
Those were some wonderful days; R&R in Subic Bay with a beautiful woman, pack of cigarettes, San Miguel beer, betel nut & thai sticks and a shot of absinthe, aka "Green Fairy." In those Subic bars, good music and dancing with the Green Fairy! Same in Japan and Hong Kong.Last edited: Apr 24, 2015

I learned working for my 1 employer the difference between ex-Marine and a Marine not on active duty....I mistakenly called my boss an ex-Marine(not knowing any better)....I honestly don't recall what happened the rest of that day. From that day forward...I often started and ended my statements to him with Sir for some reason (and I regrettably never had the honor of serving in the military)
