What's up with flip flop drivers? What are reasons they're wearing them in the truck? I see drivers wearing socks and flip flops, What's up with that?

    I personally drive with socks......

Thats because my rubber boots go into a plastic tray and are pretty hard to drive with on.

Who cares? I'm sure they could care less what anyone else thinks. You could be wearing panties or not while driving and no one cares as long as your safe on the road.

Nothing more annoying that some idiot in a volvo pulling up to get a flatbed load with track pants and flip flops on... Get with the program already.

Majority of Flatbed shippers require PPE.

I was at a steel plant once doing a pickup, and there is a big sign "PPE Must be worn at all times while on property" . I kid you not, a guy gets out of his truck, come to think of it it was a white Volvo, he puts on a hi-vis safety vest and hardhat, and sure enough he was wearing flip flops.
