I’m busy sitting at home on voluntary day off, on account of the economy but the rest of you all have lots of work to do so go get em!

 

I sat at home a couple day’s last week voluntarily. Used vacation days so all paid. Gonna volunteer for 2 days a week unpaid a week. Figure if i work 3 days a week I’ll manage until we are back to normal. Plus it’s been nice working on stuff getting it ready for summer.

 

I'm getting myself into the mindset of doing the same thing if need be. They are offering CC weeks instead of days on linehaul at our place. 2 drivers off all week when we already have 2 unfilled bids plus Tiny gone.

 

Well here’s some Monday morning workers. For all you working people out there.

CVS Pharmacy and the Rocky River, Ohio Service Department are all working today.

 

Friday was the first night that I actually saw road trucks parked at my barn. Went from seeing all of them out each night last week, to at least 6 parked up. It will be interesting to see what things look like on Monday. So nothing has changed at all for me, and I don’t expect it to change since there’s a handful of guys under me and there’s still a bunch of city guys under them to run the overflow to the hub.

Kinda glad our bid was cancelled since the lane I run is now the safest one we have. Low miles, but job security.
