There's pics on here someplace of the last stove cleaning, holes in fingertips.

    The horror.

I took Dad to play poker that night, and had to have all my fingers bandaged because running them across the felt was agonizing.

It's all fun and games until there's holes in your fingers.

This is where airplane tickets seem to be a much better idea in hindsight.
The only reason I was in Phoenix was to see my sister. Then I had to drag 45k of water through the freekin Grand Canyon to get to Salt Lake then I had to get a load of Bic lighters going to some Chinese mafia type in New Jersey.
    Never again

You can lose more money focusing on pm rate sometimes. Better to focus on net after fuel per day. Bottom line is what you end up with weekly, monthly

that is true and good way to think about it . they do average out the 15k revenue over 3 months. before u can get terminated, so 45k per quarter . but i come up short last month cuz i took week off to see family. not knowing that everything was gonna close out here and not be able to find freight. i guess thats trucking tho...always something to mess up ur plans. may just see how far i can deadhead over this weekend and find something wherever im at monday morning. doubt anything will change here over the weekend

If your fuel runs $3 a gallon and your truck gets 8 mpg, for every 80 miles it costs you $30. You can run nearly 350 miles for $120.
350 miles should put you back in the game.

Well times like this the contract should waive minimum requirements. I can’t imagine they want to lose a Driver who’s doing the best he possibly can.

Ok this is the last clean stove. Not sure where the pics are, but it's around this time frame. This is also when the ball cap was still in relatively good shape.

$3 per galllon?????????? Holy smokes some one is ripping you off! I can get heating fuel at an expensive $2.12. Otherwise here in Maine it is only $1.60
