They had their first case around the same time we did, we're not months behind them.

Yep it's time to watch all the drivers who like to run run run start to panic . Miles could be down for a bit

I think it a given that even for the best positioned miles and rates are gonna drop off .
My better half wasnt excited but understood when I told her the other day we will be paying out every thing ahead of time and not spending anything extra just because of the uncertainty.

Nah, I never take handouts. Truck driving is only one of many ways that I can make a buck. Then again with everything closed, it really doesn’t matter if you’re a jack of all trades, where are you going to go to work? LOL the more I sit back and think about this entire situation the more I realize how messed up it really is! There is no fallback income, fallback career, it’s all been taken away. LOL

Western flyer and bzinger Thank this.

One things for sure lots of these owner ops that was shooting for the stars on the rates during the panic buying are gonna be the first sitting at home.

They wont be sitting at home cause they want to, they wont have a choice because the brokers will remember who they are and wont be offering them anything no matter how cheap it is.

Companies that's been fair and not rate gouging will more than likely be alright.

    You are absolutely right !
And perfectly describes my pals .
They shamelessly robbed the meat brokers where I live in 2018 and bragged about it .
When things cooled off in 2019 those brokers wouldn't load them anymore and now all they get are the scraps .
We still talk but they have all kinds of lame excuses for why they dont haul for those brokers anymore...like I'm to dumb to know lol.
Told my carrier awhile back dont lease them on here.
