What if it Snows?

I feel lucky. But shouldn't...
I turned my heat off before leaving. Was worried... Got down to 10 last night. High today 23. Worried about water pipes freezing. The key not to worry? The basement. And I have a big open stairway going down.
Came in and it was cool. Not bad. Cooler than basement. Basement temp was 50 f.
Feel kinda lucky. First time I ever did that mistake.
Oh... it's supposed to go down to single digits tonight here.

 

I’m pretty unlucky when it comes to coming off hometime to some random snow fall. Saw 6 or so accidents on the way up to Denver from Colorado Springs. One involved quite a few vehicles and had all kinds of emergency responders there on SB i25

 

Its currently 42 and sucks in OKC. And I don't mean the weather sucks, just Ok in general rotfl.

I found a Conoco/Circle K that has 5 parking spots a mile from my drop off. Better than 4.5mi from the TA.

 

My ice cream search has gone unsuccesful . Quite dissapointed

 

You should see some of the Texas sites.

They put up pretty signs encouraging economic investment and extolling what has been sunk into the next 10 miles.

Close a lane, chop up a few plates and then let it all sit out a few years with no progress.

I dont know what day it is anymore, nor does it even matter.
Snuck out of lockdown for a walk. Managed to evade 2 Enforcement patrols.
There is no end in sight.

May need to plan raids on the neighbors for supplies.

Thats all for now, i need to go back to sharpening sticks for my fortification efforts.
